Philome – Fundraiser for Surgery
Philome is 3 years old.  He has had 3 surgeries for imperforated anus.  He is recovering and is able to use the potty like a big boy now.  He will have at least one more surgery to close the existing stoma.  Philome’s case was more difficult than Monica’s because his anatomy was a little different. Philome has been a happy boy through all of his tests, surgeries hospitalizations.  He gives smiles freely, is very talkative and likes to dance for the staff! When we asked him what he was going to do when he got home, he said “eat candy and ride my bike to school”.  Candy? Ok.  But the bike… Philome doesn’t have a bike.  Do you think he wants one?  If there are extra funds maybe we can fix that.  Until then please help us pay for Philome’s medical bills?
You can read more about Philome on his GoFundMe page.

Monica – Update After Surgery
Thank you for helping Monica. I’m happy to tell you Monica is in school, the stomach/etc is healed. So thank you for your support.

Mobile Clinic for Masson-Sion (January 2017)
Rose Gbadamassi will be representing the Haitian Community of MN in Haiti for a mobile medical clinic at the school Masson-Sion. Rose is collecting over-the-counter medicines for the clinic. Some of the needed items are children’s gummy vitamins, children’s Tylenol, ibuprofen, toothpaste and asthma inhalers.  Children’s underwear, small barrettes and small toys are also appreciated as gifts for the children.
